Our Approach

At Seafox Farm we ‘re truly single-source—from pasture and orchard to jar and glass. Everything is grown, raised, and milled on our land so you know exactly where your food and lumber come from and who’s caring for them. Lamb packaging is provided locally by a USDA-approved processor. By keeping our supply chain short and selling locally, we keep prices fair while preserving the flavor and quality that come from small‑scale, hands‑on care. We believe farm fresh should be for everyone.

We prioritize animal welfare, sustainability, and healthy soil management in every decision. Our animals are raised with attentive care; our orchard and fields are managed to build soil health and support pollinators; and our practices aim to leave the land better than we found it.

Our farm focuses on sustainable management—we design systems so each element supports the others. Bees help pollinate our apple trees; grazing sheep add fertility to orchard rows; woodlands provide habitat and sustainably harvested lumber. Rather than treating each enterprise separately, we plan layouts, planting, and animal rotations to close nutrient loops, conserve water, and increase biodiversity. This practical, ecosystem‑minded design keeps inputs low, improves long‑term productivity, and makes the farm more resilient.

As a family‑run farm based at the historic Ezekial Hanson Home, we combine practical stewardship with a commitment to honest, transparent farming. We look forward to opening our doors to visitors in 2027 for you to meet the family and our animals, and see how care and community shape everything we grow. Until then, please feel free to contact us with questions or for enquiries about our lumber!
