No. As a small farm, we have decided to prioritize transparency and reducing prices over the formal organic seal. USDA organic certification is problematic and we made a conscious decision not to pursue the label. The system is costly, administratively burdensome, and can mislead customers about what to expect. For example, “organic” is not an absolute ban on all synthetic substances.

Instead, we prefer to form direct relationships with our customers, provide transparent on-farm practices, and clear labeling about inputs and animal care. We prioritize animal welfare, sustainability, affordability, and healthy soil management.

We get so much speculation about this, due to local rumors that seem to have been passed down over generations!

And yes, it absolutely is, but we get along great with our ghost/s.
